INITIAL ASSESSMENT

For adults, initial assessments are one to three sessions of 60 minutes each.

For adolescents, Dr. Cruz will meet both with the parent as well as the patient, and the initial assessment requires three to five 60 minutes sessions, depending in the complexity of the situation and the need for coordination with schools and other providers.

ONGOING TREATMENT

Therapy appointments are typically scheduled for 50 minutes, one or more times per week.  If medication management is needed, you will address and discuss any medication-related issues or concerns with Dr. Cruz during your therapy appointments.

Please be aware that while Dr. Cruz does provide medication management-only appointments, availability is limited.
